Objective
The objective of Magma is to get from your starting point to an end point within the number of attempts determined before you begin. Kick the footbag to your teammates to travel the distance. If the footbag touches the ground in a "magma zone" then another attempt is counted and you must start over at the starting point. If the footbag falls in a "safe zone" you can continue your attempts from where the footbag fell.
Scoring
Before each round, the players collectively decide on the number of attempts this round might take. For example, players might decide a certain round will take 20 attempts. Starting at 1, any time the footbag touches the ground, a new attempt is added. If players are able to accomplish the round under, or on their estimated attempt amount, 5 points are scored!
Before each round, goals (buckets, baskets, etc.) can be added across your course. During a round, deciding to go for a goal is entirely optional. If a goal is made, you are given 5 more attempts! For example, if you had attempted this round 10 times already, scoring a goal would bring your attempted score down to 5, essentially giving you 5 more attempts to complete this round within or on your attempt estimate, and therefore score a point for that round.
